Day 8 Friday in St. Kitts

This was a fun island (they all were, really). I think I took the most pictures on this island too. I have over 500 pictures-that's the count AFTER I deleted all the bad/blurry ones too. I put only 106 on facebook, ha! I'm putting way more on this blog tho.
We were docked next to another boat on this island, the Sea Princess.
Today, the Gpa and Gma took M for the day. These two tagged along with us to a beach. I thought the Taxi driver said Friar's Bay, but when looking on a map, we were on the other side of the island...so not sure really what beach we were at. I do know tho, that we were by Shipwreck Bar and Grill.

The left side of the picture is the Atlantic, the right side of the picture is the Caribbean Sea. I was told that this island, alot of American's come to and build houses. It seemed less "crowded" of an island, and from the parts of it we saw, it was definitely wealthier. Big, big houses!
There are Green Velvet monkeys that roam free on this island. They are also pets too.

Australia was closer to us here than Green Bay WI. (kyle's holding that sign)
This beach was more crowded, the waves rolling in more, and it dropped off faster, also there was sea weed or something along the shore. But it didn't hamper our favorite activites at all! I also had packed my snorkel mask from the 1990's, and we tried it out at every beach. This beach seemed to have more of a variety of fish, maybe because there was some coral there to swim around. Supposedly there were sea urchins too, but I wasn't brave enough to keep looking for those. Besides, I had a wiggly girl hogging my innertube.

Don't try to order just a bag of chips...it took about 30 mins. Also, I wasn't top priority since I wasn't ordering some sort of alcohol, I guess.

Just as we were leaving, we saw this little friend. Tiffany was quite engrossed in watching it riding the waves (it would disappear when the waved crashed in) then I wiggled my toes on her foot since she was trying to look for the crab and she about jumped halfway into the ocean. You had to be there!
You could have your pictures taken with these monkeys back in Port. They all wore little diapers too. This one was perched in front of T, and casually put his hand over on P's brake to kind of brace himself. It was funny, because he just did it very naturally. I wish we would have just put the monkey in T's chair to see how well he could have wheeled himself/herself (?) around.

This is my only sunset picture. Along with waking up at dawn to watch coming into port, I was also going to take pictures of the sunsets and leaving the islands. Usually when we got back to the boat after a day at the beach, Jon and I just cleaned the kids up and we all took a little nap before dinner (you know, to at least make it through the meal and hopefully be awake long enough after to see one of the shows)...well, I kept sleeping through the sail away time.

Cream of something green soup. I think it was Asparagus. Not the most favorite...but interesting.
Maybe this was Jon's fried shrimp.
Vegetarian Lasagna...some bites of it tasted like sea weed (not that I know what that tastes like tho). But really, I was just sooo full after 3 appetizers that night, that I sorta nibbled on this. It was huge by the way. Oh, and we were feeling much better, and had to make up for lost time, so that's why some of us ordered 3 appetizers.
M just loved Jon. He was one of the very few that she would want to go to. Probably cuz he's goofy looking! =)

Also she would get very jealous if anyone (my kids) would so much as talk to either of her parents.

the green shows the traveled part, the red is what we have left....it's going by fast!

Those room stewards are so much fun!
Good night monkeys!
