So on this Sea Day, it actually rained all morning until about lunch time. It was perfect tho. Peyton and Jonna wanted to check out the kids club (p was pretty sure he was not going to have fun and said he'd only go for 1 hour). Tyler wanted nothing to do with the kids group his age, so for a little while he tagged around with us, then I went to check on P and J and they both told me to go away until lunch time. So, Jon and I decided we'd go to the exercise room (the only time I ever was in this room for the entire cruise by the way, except for when we peeked in it on Sunday eve). Kids are not allowed in, but Jon sweet talked one of the guys that managed it, so Tyler was able to sit right next to me, while I walked on the treadmill and Jon worked out. It's interesting walking at a fast pace on a treadmill on a slightly rocking ship. It's interesting lifting free weights too.
Then we picked up the kids for lunch and ran into some of my family. When there is food served 24 hrs a day and there are about 3,000 people on the boat since it's a sea day, that is somewhat of a miracle that we saw them. Afterwards, P and J wanted to go back to the kids club, so I told them we'd pick them up around 4 pm. Jon, Tyler and I bummed around the boat and sat by the pool, it was sunny now too! Then when I went to pick up the kids, they both starting crying. They wanted to stay for the magic show. Okay....but we would like to see you at supper time for sure, kids!
Chilled Strawberry Soup.
It was like a smoothie.
Something and fried shrimp. (jon's plate)
mmmm...this was good!
We didn't know it yet, but this kid would turn into a chicken nugget by the end of the trip.
This dessert was very yummy. I could cry right now because I want some again! It was apple something, with whip cream and carmel sauce.
Goodnight!
