Day 3 ~ Sunday ~ Jan 2nd

Sunday morning...I was wide awake at 5 AM!
It was one of those things...you wake up having to go the bathroom, then go back to bed and a dumb thought comes into your mind that bugs you like you can't remember where you put something, but you can't go back to sleep until you figure it out. Yeah, it was some medicine stuff I had packed, couldn't remember for the life of me where I put it. It wouldn't have mattered either since we never had to use it. But I got to loose a few hours of sleep over it.
Around 7 AM, still wide awake, (I had figured out where I packed the meds, but was too excited about being on vacation to actually do what you do on vacation-sleep.) I texted my dad since I figured he'd be awake too and maybe would want to go find some java. I was getting antsy around 7:30, so I called his room, my MOM answered the phone on the first ring. Hey, maybe they're all wide awake over there?! Nope...she just passed the message onto dad and went back to sleep (sorry again for waking you up!)
So Dad and I met in the Lobby and decided to go one way down the street-to the left...not sure if that was north, south, east west, northwest, blah blah blah...but only 1 block away, there it was. Starbucks. We had been only 1 block away from it for the last 20-ish hours and didn't know it! How can that be? So we both grab a coffee and one for gma and Jon and headed back to the hotel to drop theirs off. While at the hotel, Jess, Tiff, and Kyle wake up and want coffee too. Oh and some kids wanted something to eat. So Dad and I head back out, found a Walgreens for donuts and juice (on the way there tho -3 blocks in the opposite direction of Starbucks-it downpours. So much that we stood on a bench under a bus shelter for about 5 minutes). Then walked past the hotel to starbucks again for those other 3 people who didn't wake up in time for the 1st order (just kidding you guys) for more coffee, then back to the hotel to get ready for the day.
We just had a nice quiet morning since it was Union Sunday and the fellowship meeting was an hour away.
Around noon, we checked out of the hotel with the other 1 million people that were staying there and headed over to the cruise boat.
Luckily we all were able to get on the boat-everyone passed all the tests and screenings and had all the correct papers. Now, my mom could relax!!
We ate lunch and walked around the boat...then lost mom (i think she went to take a nap, but when we went to collect her for supper, she wasn't in the room. We all figured she'd make her way to the right dining room for supper at 6 pm...at least she showed up in time for dessert!)
Here we are waiting for the first "show" in the Carribbean Theater/Lounge. It was more like an orientation of the cruise, and Jon/Jonna won their first prize on the boat. A 24 carat gold plastic ship on a stick.

 Missing mom...
My first meal...steak, veggies and the best potatoes I ever had. Oh wait, those weren't potatoes, it was macaroni and cheese.
During the sail away party...Tiffany and I went up on one of the decks and took pictures.
Goodbye San Juan!
