Sunday morning, I was found hanging around the Lobby (it was like a ghost town) waiting for someone to correct an error on my bill, so I decided to snap a few pictures of the main Lobby area.
This is looking up at the ceiling. The theme of the boat was mostly blue and green with sea horses everywhere.
On top of the boat looking at Old San Juan
I found out why the Lobby area was empty of bodies...they were all on the Lido deck (deck 9 with all the food and buffets). The deal with the cruise ship on Sunday-last day is that you have to be out of your room by 9 AM, but waiting in certain areas (Lido 9 was pretty much the only one) and there are 32 zones, and they call you by zone number starting at 1. We were zone 30! So we didn't get off the boat until 11 AM. We found this little corner and hung out here for 2 hours. We passed the time eating of course.
Once off the boat we went to the hotel (across the street and down 1 block), and luckily our rooms were ready!!
Goodbye boat!
Some of us walked around a little part of the town. It is neat and pretty and old! Notice the cobblestone roads?
Shaken iced tea never tasted so good!
When gramps and gran are in charge, anything happens!
One last supper eating out for us, before it's back to reality.
Goodbye for real this time. When we drive by at 4:30 AM on the way to the airport tomorrow morning, you'll already be gone with other people sleeping in our beds, eating at our table and listening to Karl with a K.
Same time, same place next year?
