I felt like I was almost stealing it, it was sooo good! After forever of stalking craigslist for an Ikea Ektorp couch (loveseat or the full size, I wasn't too picky), I found one 10 mins away for a whopping $25! I couldn't believe it. The lady did have a cat, but I thought, for $25, I could at least try it and see if my allergies acted up. The cover it came with was pretty gross (cat hair, some stains, some red stain-lipstick? Koolaid? not sure.) For the fun of it tho, I did run it through the washer 2 times. I vacuumed the couch (minus the gross cover) really well, and today my $39 white cover was delivered by Fed Ex. For a $379 brand new couch, I got this one for $64. The frame and actual couch and cushions are all in great shape. It was going to go in our basement, but the kids and I have been enjoying it upstairs. It's much warmer and cushier than our other couch (which I do love too). Many people have the white cover with kids and I haven't heard anything bad about them yet....they wash really well I guess-just don't throw it in the dryer!
